Dr Otesile is an experienced GP who has been part of the ACT GP community for the last 8yrs. He finished his medical training at University of Ilorin in Nigeria in 2001. After some years of experience working in various settings in Nigeria, Mayokun went on to complete his postgraduate training in Family Medicine in South Africa where he also worked as a specialist family physician before relocating to Australia with his family in 2013.
Mayokun has worked as a general practitioner in Belconnen area in Canberra since 2013. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and he has been involved in training GP registrars in Canberra.
He has special interest in chronic diseases management, child health, mental health, skin conditions and minor procedures.
Mayokun enjoys playing tennis, reading books and spending time with his wife and kids.
